Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This policy sets out what is and isn't acceptable use of the StakeSteps platform. It supplements, and should be read together with, section 14 (Prohibited Conduct) of our Terms & Conditions, which forms part of your agreement with us.
1. The standard we expect
Use the Platform only for its intended purpose: attempting a simulated sports-picking performance evaluation, honestly and independently, and (if eligible) requesting Performance Rewards you've genuinely earned.
2. Specifically prohibited
In addition to section 14 of our Terms & Conditions, you must not:
- create, control, or benefit from more than one Account; - share, sell, rent, or transfer your Account or Challenge Account to anyone else; - coordinate Picks with another Account (yours or anyone else's) to hedge, manipulate, or circumvent risk rules across accounts; - use automation, bots, or scripts to place Picks or interact with the Platform, except where we expressly permit it; - attempt to probe, disrupt, or interfere with the Platform's security, availability, or normal operation; - attempt to access another user's Account or data; - exploit a known or discovered bug, data delay, latency, or settlement-timing gap for advantage; - submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information at any point, including at identity verification; - use a payment method you are not authorised to use, or attempt chargeback abuse; or - use the Platform, or any content or data obtained from it, for an unlawful purpose.
This list is non-exhaustive and should be read together with section 14 of our Terms & Conditions.
3. Consequences
A breach of this policy may result in any of the actions described in section 15 of our Terms & Conditions, including investigation, suspension, restriction, or termination of your Account.
4. Reporting misuse
If you become aware of conduct that may breach this policy, please report it to support@stakesteps.com.au.
5. Changes to this policy
